State & Federal Communications 23rd Anniversary Poster
Summer 2016
The 23rd Anniversary of State & Federal Communications, a small Akron-based lobbying/compliance company, was significant because LeBron James is from Akron, his Cleveland Cavs jersey number was 23, and the company president
(Ms. Elizabeth Bartz) is a basketball fan. The poster inspiration was to emulate LeBron James’ iconic chalk-dust clap. A jersey was specially made for Ms.Bartz, and State & Federal’s signature stars were used instead of dust.
State & Federal Communications Cell Phone App Design
Summer 2016
The State & Federal Communications app design layout was based on the company’s existing website and allowed consumer access to accounts and ancillary features offered by the company.
More News, Less Noise
Spring 2016
WMRA, a small public radio station located in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, needed a logo for their new promotional slogan: “More News, Less Noise.”
This phrase promoted the station’s promise to focus on its journalistic
mission rather than on-air fundraising campaigns that filled the
airwaves with needless prattle.
Kent Cycle Rebrand
Fall 2015
Kent Cycle is an independent, locally owned bicycling company that specializes in affordable secondhand bikes and bike repair. The history of cycling in Kent, Ohio, began around the time the town was founded almost 200 years ago.
This redesign emphasizes Kent’s history with a simple sepia colour pallet
and many vintage images.
